AVNOR Inc. is a software company based in Toronto Canada.  Our goal is to enable Internet TV as YOU want it.

Let’s face it, the Internet is changing the way we do many things and the way we watch video content is changing as well.

Currently many traditional TV stations have huge amounts of video content on their websites; much of it is FREE.  Unfortunately many of those sites are difficult to navigate.  Finding the content that we wanted to watch was challenging.  We wanted to filter this content for only full episodes and be notified when new shows were placed on the various websites.  We wanted to do this legally!  We also did not want to have to install an app for every Internet TV website.

So two former University of Waterloo students got together and off they went – trying to figure out how to accomplish this goal.  AVNOR was soon born (2013).

AVNOR is a customized browser that we created which accesses a database of TV website content listings.  AVNOR does not own/host/steal/trans-code or alter any of the content.  Nor does AVNOR change/alter the viewing of the content websites in any way.  AVNOR simply present to you a “Program Guide” that when you select your preferred content, navigates to that particular website and plays the video just like any other browser.  We deliberately designed AVNOR to not place any banner ads at the bottom of the “video player”.

AVNOR is no different than the traditional “Program Guides” that you used to receive in your weekend newspaper. The fee that you may be paying for using AVNOR (Gold or Platinum versions) is a fee for being able to customize the “Program Guide”;  it is not a fee for viewing the content.

Our goal is to be the #1 Internet TV Program Guide.  We are constantly adding new Internet TV channel websites from around the world.

We hope you like AVNOR as much as we do!

P.S.  If you are a TV channel company please do not get all upset with us 🙂 AVNOR is helping to send eyeballs to your website.  It’s a good thing!  😉
